Online Counselling Session on Dealing Positively with Adolescent
Peradeniya Agros95 Alumni Association is aiming at reaching broader social goals beyond the membership and we value the development of the younger generation to take the responsibilities in the future. Many of our alumni are now experiencing the transition of their children with adolescence or we interact with parents or kids in that stage. The association organized an online event targeting providing scientific guidance on handling current or potential issues that might surface with the adolescence of the children.
With our invitation, Dr. Nisha Fernando who is serving as a Senior Counselor and a Medical Officer at the Kethumathie Maternity Hospital, conducted a valuable session on this subject on 6th March 2021. This session which ran over 3 hours provided general and specific guidance on dealing with adolescent kids with a positive impact on their psychological health and personality. The consultation session was highly informative and interesting. The experience of Dr. Nisha Fernando added a very high knowledge value for all the participants with her many years of professional experience in counselling. All the participants endorsed that this session is very timely and valuable.
